我们不仗保拍大熊貓 : wwfchina.org : WWF : Panda Series Print Ad by BBH Shanghai : The main objective is to raise awareness that WWF China is involved in many programs aside from just protecting pandas. In China, there’s a misnomer that WWF only protects pandas, because of their iconic logo. The task is to correct the perception by showcasing their wetlands, wildlife and forestry programs. http://en.wwfchina.org/
The Typography Beard Guide pairs popular beard styles with their font brothers.
How sans serif is your beard? Are your chin whiskers more of a Bodoni, a Times, or a Comic Sans? Exactly what typographical allegiances does your facial 'fro owe? And what is your favorite font’s beard brother?
These are the questions asked by the Typography Beard Guide, a humorous chart by artist and beard wearer Christian Goldemann, in which 25 popular facial hair styles are assigned a font based upon their layout and characteristics of its follicles.
Asked by Co.Design about what makes a good font brother for a beard, the Stuttgart graphic designer is the first to admit he can’t really explain it in words. "For most of the facial hair styles, I picked fonts based upon the shape of the beard or whether a particular person who wore that kind of beard would have favored a particular font," Goldemann tells me. "But it’s more than just linking a certain beard to a font that was contemporary at a time, or to a person. There’s no set formula."

Frustrated by stupid client criticism, Irish graphic designers Mark Shanley and Paddy Treacy decided to turn their “favorite worst feedback” into posters. The guys worked together on so-called “Sharp Suits” series with a team of other ad creatives, designers, animators, directors, illustrators and more, who must’ve all appreciated a chance to let out some of their exasperation in a creative way.
The series was exhibited at The Little Green Café, Bar and Gallery in November, giving a chance to purchase an A3 poster of your choice. The guys, however, received so many orders during a 5 day exhibition, that they’ve already stopped accepting them. All the thousands of euros they raised were donated to the Temple Street Children Hospital. http://sharpsuits.net/

This spider is a male Maratus speciosus (Coastal peacock spider) and this is its way to appeal to a potential female mate (the brown spider at the end). It is approximately 4 mm in length and inhabits coastal dunes near Perth in Western Australia. The asymmetric and staccato legwork of this one is unique, and so are the clown face and orange hairs on its back. https://youtu.be/d_yYC5r8xMI
Scientists captured the 1st live footage of the elusive Omura's whale. Until now, the small, tropical marine mammal had been little seen in the wild. 44 groups of Omura's whale were documented by a team of researchers led by Salvatore Cerchio (Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution / New England Aquarium). http://news.discovery.com/animals/whales-dolphins/mysterious-omuras-whale-filmed-for-the-first-time-151102.htm

THE FOODNITED STATES™, A Pun-Fueled Series of US States Made From Food : In addition to being the creator of Foodiggity.com, I’m also the father of an eight-year-old. And, when most of the material covered on your site could best be described as ‘juvenile food-related nonsense,’ a curious youngster is gonna wanna get involved. It began innocently enough with, “Dad… What if you made States, but like, they were made of food, like?” My response was something along the lines of, “That’s been done to death already, son… Go to bed.” Then, the heir to the Foodiggity empire added, “But what if they like had funny names like New Pork or New Jerky, like?” Now, we were on to something. So, with an idea set forth by an eight year-old, and contributions from Dad and others, we give you The Foodnited States of America. The project will be based over at Instagram : https://instagram.com/foodiggity/ : hashtag #foodnitedstates. http://www.foodiggity.com/the-foodnited-states-of-america-a-pun-fueled-series-of-us-states-made-from-food/

It was licensed for distribution in the United States by Midway and released in October 1980. Immensely popular from its original release to the present day, Pac-Man is considered one of the classics of the medium, virtually synonymous with video games, and an icon of 1980s popular culture. At ICRA 2015 in Seattle yesterday, researchers from MIT demonstrated an untethered miniature origami robot that self-folds, walks, swims, and degrades. That's the title of their paper, in fact, and they delivered on all of those promises: from a flat sheet with a magnet on it, their robot folds itself up in just a few seconds, is immediately ready to zip around on land or water driven by magnetic fields, and then when you’ve run out of things to do with it, drive it into a tank of acetone and it'll dissolve. This is the first time that a robot has been able to demonstrate a complete life cycle like this, and eventually, it'll be doing it inside your body. http://youtu.be/f0CluQiwLRg
